Les Curiosites de Laubade "Gascogna" Bas Armagnac, 500ml

After the initial 9-year ageing in Gascony 430L oak barrels, the eau-de-vie undergoes a 10-month finishing period in 2 French oak barriques previously used to age single malt whisky from the Vilanova Distillery (owned by the Castan family in the Tarn). The "Gascogna" is bottled at 43.2% ABV in 50cl bottles, with a limited production of 582 numbered bottles.

Tasting Note:

The color is amber with dark reflections. The first nose is delicate, floral and fruity. The cereal and the undergrowth then express themselves. On the palate, Gascogna offers a nice fluidity in attack, then develops with a nice length.
