Jean Baptiste Jessiaume Santenay 1er Cru "Clos Rousseau" Rouge 2019, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir from 0.70 hectares of clay and limestone soils on east to south-facing slopes between 300 and 500 meters. The vineyard features a mix of grey limestone, oolitic layers, and marl. Handpicked with 50% destemmed and 50% whole clusters, followed by meticulous sorting and temperature-controlled vinification. Aged 15 months, including 12 in oak barrels (10% new), for complexity and balance.

Tasting Note:

A purple and deep colour. Its nose is dense and powerful with aromas of ripe fruits and spices. A generous, powerful, harmonious and racy wine.
