Jean Baptiste Jessiaume Santenay "La Forge" Rouge 2019, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir from 0.60 hectares of calcareous clay on east to south-facing slopes, ranging from 300 to 500 meters in altitude. The vineyard features a mix of grey limestone, oolitic layers, marl, and limestone kidneys. Vatted for 30 days and aged 15 months in oak barrels, with 10% new oak, for depth and balance.

Tasting Note:

Ruby in colour. Its nose has red and dark fruit aromas such as redcurrant, raspberry, blueberry -as well as floral- violet. Precise on the palate, with a wide aromatic range and a great persistence.
