Georg Muller "Hassel" Riesling GG 2021, 750ml

"Hassel" Riesling GG is made from 100% Riesling, aged in stainless steel tanks. The grapes come from the Hattenheim Hassel vineyard in the Rheingau region, known for its fine slate soils with a high proportion of clay. The vineyard's steep slopes and south-southwest orientation provide optimal sun exposure, while the cooler microclimate, influenced by the nearby Rhine River, contributes to the wine's freshness and complexity. 

The "Grosses Gewächs" (GG) designation indicates a top-quality dry wine from Germany's best vineyard sites, produced by members of the VDP, with a residual sugar content typically around 4 grams per liter. (Dry).

Tasting Note:

Fresh citrus and iodine on the nose. Crisp palate with ripe citrus, lime zest, and fine fruit sweetness. Refreshing acidity and a lively finish.
