Domaine de la Garreliere "Cendrillon" Blanc 2022, 750ml

100% Sauvignon Blanc grown on a 2.5-hectare biodynamic vineyard planted in 1979 near Richelieu in the Touraine appellation. The vines are rooted in sandy soils over flint clay, facing south-southeast. Grapes were gently pressed over three hours using a pneumatic press, followed by a 12-hour settling period. Fermentation lasted 3–4 weeks with native yeasts, and ageing was split between stainless steel tanks and old 500-liter oak barrels, with approximately 33% of the wine seeing oak contact.

Tasting Note:

Aromas of citrus, white peach, and subtle herbal notes. The palate is fresh and mineral, with fine acidity and layered texture. Overall, the wine is elegant and expressive, balancing purity with complexity from partial oak ageing.
