Domaine Perrot Minot Morey Saint Denis "La Rue de Vergy" 2019, 750ml

Morey-Saint-Denis “La Rue de Vergy” 2019 is sourced from a 1.48-hectare parcel planted in 1974, located just above Clos de Tart. The terroir is bathed in light and composed of rocky, mineral-rich soils with very low organic matter, encouraging deep root penetration and imparting pronounced minerality. Grapes were 40–50% fermented as whole clusters with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, following a cold maceration. The wine was aged for 16–18 months in up to 30% new French oak barrels, without racking, fining, or filtration, and bottled by gravity.

Tasting Note:

The nose opens with aromas of cherry, raspberry, rose petal, and spice. The palate is medium-bodied and vibrant, showing fine, powdery tannins, bright acidity, and a mineral-driven finish with subtle salinity and floral lift.
