Domaine Guy Amiot Bouzeron "Les Bouillottes" Blanc 2020, 750ml

Bouzeron "Les Bouillottes" Blanc 2020 is sourced from a 0.54 ha east-facing parcel in the Côte Chalonnaise, planted with 45-year-old Aligoté vines on white marl soils with a dominant limestone base. Added to the domaine in 2014, this site complements their Aligoté holdings in Chassagne-Montrachet. Grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts, followed by 12 months of ageing in French oak barrels, of which 10% are new. The wine is then assembled in tank before bottling.

Tasting Note:

A complex, fresh and round wine with hints of grilled lemon, stone fruit, white flowers and flint. Inviting but at the same time seriously tight with a resounding focused acid. An impressively intense and long finish.
