Founded in 1870 and passed down through generations, Chateau de Laubade remains a family-owned estate helmed by the third generation of Lesgourgues – Denis, Jeanne, and Arnaud. Their 105-hectare vineyard, nestled in the heart of Bas Armagnac, thrives amidst the Pyrenees, where sustainable practices nurture vines for exceptional Armagnac.

The 2000 vintage has a brilliant mahogany color and develops notes of vanilla, candied fruit and melted wood. These aromas are found in the mouth and give this Armagnac a very pleasant sensation of sweetness. Ample and generous, it offers an example of perfect balance between fruit and evolved woodiness.
