Springbank 21 Year Old Single Cask, 700ml

This is a special single cask release from the Springbank Distillery. Produced using lightly peated malt that is floor-malted on-site and distilled 2.5 times in traditional copper pot stills, the spirit is matured for 21 years in a hand-selected oak cask. The distillery utilizes water sourced from Crosshill Loch and handles all production steps entirely in-house. This bottling is a cask strength single malt whisky with an alcohol by volume of 54.2%.

Aged in refilled port casks.

Tasting Note:

Nose: Campbeltown engine oil and coastal brine, shifting to ripe redcurrants, stewed plums, and waxy peat smoke.

Palate: Rich and oily. Deep dark chocolate, caramelized sugar, and smoked figs transition into salted caramel and dunnage warehouse oak.

Finish: Long and warming. Dry leather, cracked black pepper, and charred cinnamon, leaving a lingering maritime saltiness.
