Domaine Guy Amiot Montrachet Grand Cru 2018, 750ml

Montrachet Grand Cru 2018 is sourced from two micro-parcels totaling 0.091 ha in Chassagne-Montrachet, planted in the 1920s on active limestone and clay soils with exposed bedrock, and ideally facing south. The vines are 100% Chardonnay from sélection massale and yield tiny, concentrated berries.
Grapes are carefully sorted, fermented in tank with bâtonnage, and undergo spontaneous malolactic fermentation; ageing occurs in a mix of new and used French oak barriques for 12 months, followed by 6 months in tank before bottling.

Tasting Note:

Aromas show crisp yellow and green apple, pear, and pineapple. The palate is structured and opulent, with mineral tension, white stone notes, and subtle toast. The finish is persistent and balanced, with ageing potential up to 25 years
