Domaine Lignier Michelot Coteaux Bourguignons 2021, 750ml
100% Pinot Noir grown in a 0.33-hectare parcel planted in 1991, located just outside the Morey-Saint-Denis appellation on clay-limestone soils. The grapes were hand-harvested and vinified with 50–100% whole clusters using ambient yeasts in stainless steel tanks, with pump-overs and punch-downs during fermentation. The wine was aged for over 12 months in French oak barrels, with only 0–10% new wood.
Tasting Note:
On the nose, it offers bright red fruit and floral notes. The palate is fresh and supple, with fine tannins and a clean, mineral finish. Overall, it’s a precise and expressive regional cuvée that reflects its Côte de Nuits origin with clarity and finesse.
