Chateau Lamothe Bergeron 2016, 750ml

Chateau Lamothe Bergeron 2016 is produced from Haut Medoc vineyards with gravel and clay soils planted to 50% Cabernet Sauvignon 45% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. Grapes were harvested destemmed and underwent pre fermentary cold maceration followed by fermentation in thermo regulated stainless steel vats using selected yeast. The wine was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels with 30% new oak to enhance structure and complexity.

Tasting Note

The nose reveals aromas of blackcurrant plum and subtle spice with a touch of cedar. The palate is medium to full bodied with ripe dark fruit fine tannins and balanced acidity leading to a persistent finish. Overall it offers a classic Haut Medoc profile with clarity structure and ageing potential
