Chateau Gazin Morier 2019, 750ml
Château Gazin Morier, a 17-hectare estate in Côtes de Bourg and Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux, produces vibrant wines from southwest-facing vineyards with 20-year-old vines planted at 5,000 per hectare.
The blend is 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Malbec, with cold maceration, fermentation in thermoregulated tanks, soft vatting for three weeks, and aging for 13 months in 20% new French oak barrels.
The vines grow in clay-limestone soil using sustainable viticulture. The estate holds HVE Level 3 certification.
Tasting Note:
The wine shows aromas of blackberry, cassis, and subtle spice from oak. On the palate, it offers a smooth texture with moderate tannins, balanced acidity, and flavors of ripe dark fruit and a hint of pepper, finishing with a touch of minerality.
