Kavalan Solist Oloroso Sherry Cask (HK Exclusive), 700ml

This is a special release within the Solist Series, specifically bottled as a Hong Kong Exclusive. Produced using high-quality unpeated malted barley and distilled in traditional Scottish copper pot stills, the spirit is matured in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks. This bottling is a single cask strength single malt whisky with an alcohol by volume of 55.6%.

Tasting Note:

Aroma: Clean and complex with multiple layers of dried fruit, raisins, and dark dates. These notes are complemented by the scent of roasted almonds, marzipan, and a subtle touch of vanilla and spice.

Palate: Rich, oily, and full-bodied with a concentrated sweetness of dried fruits and warm spices. The mid-palate reveals dark chocolate, cinnamon, and a hint of fine coffee.

Finish: The texture is viscous and leads into a long finish of persistent dried fruit, elegant nuttiness, and a refined oak spice that continues to warm the mouth.
