Chateau de Laubade Bas Armagnac Millesime 1989, 700ml
HK$1,500
Founded in 1870 and passed down through generations, Chateau de Laubade remains a family-owned estate helmed by the third generation of Lesgourgues – Denis, Jeanne, and Arnaud. Their 105-hectare vineyard, nestled in the heart of Bas Armagnac, thrives amidst the Pyrenees, where sustainable practices nurture vines for exceptional Armagnac.
Deep amber color. The aroma of dried fruits, prominently featuring prunes and dates, harmoniously complemented by a subtle infusion of honeyed sweetness. Rich, dark fruits such as plums and figs harmonize seamlessly with a gentle spiciness reminiscent of clove and cinnamon on the palate. The finish is exceptionally enduring and memorable.
