Les Curiosites de Laubade "L'Enchanteur" Bas Armagnac 2010, 500ml

Released in late September 2019, "L’Enchanteur" is a limited-edition Bas Armagnac made from Ugni Blanc grapes harvested in 2010. It is aged for nine years in 430-liter Gascony oak barrels, then finished for eight months in a French oak cask that previously held Château Doisy Daëne’s 2019 Sauternes Grand Cru Classé. This finishing adds notes of citrus and candied fruit to the spirit. Bottled at 45.2% ABV in 50cl format, only 562 numbered bottles were made available, highlighting its rare and carefully crafted character.

Tasting Note:

The nose offers a sumptuous aromatic palette of citrus and candied fruits. The palate, round and smooth, is delicious and fresh at the same time.
