Joh. Jos. Prum "Bernksateler Badstube" Riesling Kabinett 2023, 750ml
100% Riesling grown on steep, slate-rich slopes in the Mosel’s Bernkasteler Badstube vineyard, where soils are composed of Devonian shale with varying degrees of erosion. Vines are ungrafted and average 40 years of age. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel using native yeasts, with no oak employed and no malolactic conversion. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks and bottled with residual sugar typical of the Kabinett style.
Tasting Note:
Aromatically, it shows white peach, green apple, lime zest, and subtle white floral notes. The palate is light-bodied and crystalline, with vivid acidity and a fine mineral edge. Overall, it is a precise and delicately expressive Riesling, shaped by its cool-climate terroir and traditional vinification methods.
Residual Sugar approx.: 40-45g/l
