100% Riesling grown on steep, southwest-facing slopes in the Mosel Valley, where the soils are composed of weathered blue slate. Vines average 40 years of age and are ungrafted. Grapes are hand-harvested and fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks, with no malolactic fermentation and no oak influence. The wine is aged for several months in stainless steel, preserving its purity and freshness.

Tasting Note:

On the nose, it reveals aromas of honeysuckle, white peach, and apricot, with hints of mint and flinty minerality. The palate is unctuous and vibrant, showing ripe stone fruit, citrus, and a fine mineral tension, balanced by prominent acidity and a slight natural spritz. Overall, it is a richly expressive yet finely tuned Auslese, marked by clarity, depth, and age-worthy structure.
