Fabio Oberto Barolo 2020, 750ml

This Barolo comes from southeast-facing vineyards with sandy-clayey soil, planted in 1973. Only 2,500 bottles are made each year. The grapes are harvested by hand in the first week of October, then de-stemmed, softly pressed, and fermented in steel tanks at 28°C for two weeks. Malolactic fermentation is carried out, and the wine is aged for 24 months in large Slavonian oak barrels, followed by a minimum of nine months in the bottle.

The wine has an intense, complex aroma that is delicate and ethereal. On the palate, it is warm, full, and dry, with persistent tannins adding to its complexity. This Nebbiolo is perfect for those who appreciate structured, complex wines that evolve over time.
