Ca' del Baio "Luna d'Agosto" Chardonnay Langhe 2021, 750ml

This fresh and fruity wine, made from 100% Chardonnay, comes from vineyards planted between 2006 and 2012. The vines are grown in calcareous marl soils with high sand content, offering a distinct minerality. With southwest and northwest exposures, the grapes are harvested early, in the first weeks of September, preserving a bright, summer-like character.

Grapes undergo soft pressing, and vinification is carried out entirely in temperature-controlled steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation is not performed to preserve the wine’s fresh and youthful characteristics.

Tasting Note:

Straw yellow with greenish highlights; fragrance delicately floral and fruity, with notes that remind of citrus and exotic fruits; flavour dry, cool, long, with a slightly mineral after taste.
