A true “Second wine” that offers approachability and value for money for everyday enjoyment. Sassi Chiusi is a selection from all the vineyards of the estate: Adine, Bertinga and Vertine

Blended: 85% Sangiovese and 15% Merlot and vinified in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats and concrete tanks. Aged in stainless-steel vats and concrete tanks for 18 months. Bottle aged for 12 months prior to release.

The name Sassi Chiusi is derived from the characteristic stony soil. The wine combines grapes from the three vineyards Bertinga, Adine and Vertine. It shows aromas of currants, sweet tobacco and cedarwood. Medium to full body, round and polished tannis and a moderate finish.
