Domaine Guy Amiot Santenay "La Comme Dessus" Rouge 2020, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir from old vines (average 55+ years) in the 1er Cru La Comme Dessus lieu-dit (0.85ha) in Santenay on south-facing oolitic limestone slopes with red clay soils. The grapes are hand-harvested, fully destemmed, cold macerated for 5-7 days, and undergo alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts followed by 15-18 days total cuvaison. Aged 14-16 months in oak barrels using 30% new wood.

Tasting Note:

Aromas show black cherry and dark raspberry along with earth and light spice notes. The palate delivers richness and medium-full body with firm tannic structure and fresh acidity. Overall impression is one of concentrated depth and persistent power reflecting the ripe yet structured vintage character in Côte de Beaune Pinot Noir.
