Domaine Guy Amiot Chassagne Montrachet Rouge V.V. 2020, 750ml
HK$425
Produced from 2.30 hectares of 45-year-old vines planted in calcareous clay soil, in a northeast to southwest exposure. The grapes are cold macerated and fermentated in tanks. After spontaneous malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 months, with 2/3 in tanks and 1/3 in older French oak barriques. The barrels are then assembled in stainless steel tanks to integrate before bottling.
Tasting Note:
Bright and crisp followed by a luscious density of red raspberry and dark fruit with a hint of pepper. There's a wonderful richness and silky texture along with hints of forest elements, firm tannins and complexity in this compelling, old vines cuvée.
