Domaine Francois Carillon Bourgogne Aligote 2019, 750ml

The grapes come from Puligny-Montrachet and Corpeau, and are from the superior clone Aligoté Dore. From vines over 50 years old, the grapes are fermented directly in barrels, aged for nearly a year like the Premiers Crus in 10% new oak.

Tasting Note:

Orchard fruit dominates the nose, allied to briny minerals and zesty citrus notes. It is bright and fresh - an uplifting blend of apple, pear and stone fruit and, unusually, a juicy, grapey finish.
