Domaine Francois Carillon Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru "Les Combettes" 2020, 750ml

The Combettes plot has 0.78ha and it was planted in the early 1990s. The subsoil is brown, rich, and stony, and the vines are generally early-ripening. The grapes are whole cluster pressed, then fermented and aged in oak barrels for 18 months, with 20% new oak and occasional lees stirring.

Tasting Note:

An expressive wine that offers up aromas of orange oil, ripe pears, nutmeg and honeycomb. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and fragrant, with good energy and a muscular core of fruit.
