100% Chardonnay from the monopole climat Le Clos du Village, a warm, walled parcel in the heart of Pernand-Vergelesses elevated to Premier Cru status in 2000. The domaine farms organically with hand-harvested grapes that are gently pressed. The wine is fermented and aged in a combination of cement tanks (20%) and 350-liter French oak barrels (20% new), with ageing on the lees.

Tasting Note:

The 2023 opens with aromas of lemon, ripe citrus, white peach, and subtle floral notes with a touch of fresh butter. The palate is creamy yet fresh with rich citrus fruit, rounded texture, bright acidity, mineral undertones, and a long, saline finish that balances generosity with precision. Elegant and harmonious with good ageing potential.
