Thibault Liger Belair Successeurs Bourgogne Chardonnay "Les Charmes" 2019, 750ml

This is the first white wine produced by the domaine since 2011. The Chardonnay grapes come from the Mâconnais region, specifically from the beautiful area of Lugny.

"Les Charmes" is located in the eastern part of the appellation, primarily composed of very white limestone soil. Its southern exposure ensures good maturity, while the limestone terroir brings beautiful freshness, balancing the wine's natural richness. The vines are over 40 years old on average.

The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo a slow pressing for three hours. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks for 14 months. Oak is avoided to preserve the freshness and purity of the terroir.

Tasing Note:

This white Burgundy is fresh, harmonious and delicate. Always very pleasant in its youth, it reveals notes of exotic fruits and citrus fruits, enhanced by a velvety texture. The finish is powerful and embraced with spicy notes such as white pepper, star anise.
