Thibault Liger Belair Moulin a Vent "Les Vieilles Vignes" 2020, 750ml

This 7-hectare plot, planted between 1910 and 1955, is the flagship of the domain, representing 50% of its total production.

Climat & Soil: This blend of nine plots encircles the hill of Moulin à Vent like a belt. The soil is composed of white and pink sand derived from pink granite and quartz, found at depths of 30 to 60 cm.

The grapes are harvested by hand, with 40% whole clusters used. The wine is aged in oak casks.

Tasting Note:

This blend offers a wine with good density at the start, followed by an interesting length brought by the less deep, mineral-rich soil. It is a wine that will develop fully over 5 to 10 years, depending on the vintage, to be enjoyed at its peak maturity.
