Domaine Perrot Minot Morey Saint Denis 2022, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir sourced from several parcels, notably La Rue de Vergy, Les Sorbès, Clos Baulet, Les Blanchards, and Les Chenevery. These sites lie just above or adjacent to prestigious grand crus like Clos de Tart and Clos des Lambrays, and feature soils rich in limestone scree and rocky outcrops, with minimal organic matter, contributing to pronounced minerality and tension in the wine. The vines average around 50 years of age and are cultivated biodynamically. Fermentation was carried out in stainless steel tanks using indigenous yeasts, with fruit fully destemmed. Ageing lasted approximately 12–14 months in French oak barrels, with restrained use of new oak.

Tasting Note:

Aromas of red cherry, violet, and subtle spice. The palate is vibrant and mineral, with fine tannins and a crystalline finish. Overall, the wine reflects the geological complexity and elegance of its multi-parcel origin.
