Domaine Perrot Minot Morey Saint Denis "La Rue de Vergy" 2023, 750ml

This 100% Pinot Noir is sourced from a 1.39ha plot of La Rue de Vergy, sitting on shallow, stony limestone soils directly above the Grand Cru Clos de Tart in Morey Saint Denis. Winemaker Christophe Perrot-Minot utilized partial whole-cluster inclusion and minimal extraction with native yeasts. The wine aged in French oak barrels (approx. 20% to 25% new oak) for around 14 months before bottling without fining or filtration.

Tasting Note:

The wine opens with precise, floral-accented aromas of fresh dark cherry, wild raspberry, and violet, balanced by crushed limestone minerality and subtle savory spice. The palate is sleek, vibrant, and medium-bodied, displaying a pure core of ripe berry fruit framed by fine, chalky tannins and energetic acidity. The finish is clean, refined, and long.
