Domaine Jean Charles Rion Vosne Romanee 1er Cru "Les Beaux Monts" 2022, 750ml

This 100% Pinot Noir is sourced from the prestigious 1er Cru Les Beaux Monts in Vosne-Romanée, planted on clay-limestone soils over shallow limestone bedrock. The grapes were 100% destemmed and fermented with native yeasts in temperature-controlled vats. The wine aged in French oak barrels (approx. 50% new oak) for 15 months prior to bottling.

Tasting Note:

The wine opens with perfumed, elegant aromas of black cherry, wild raspberry, violet floral tones, and exotic spices, accompanied by subtle oak toast and crushed stone minerality. The palate is medium-to-full-bodied, silky, and harmonious, offering concentrated red and dark fruit flavors, structured tannins and vibrant acidity. The finish is long, complex, and refined, leaving persistent mineral drive and spicy berry fruit.
