Domaine Daniel Rion Nuits Saint Georges 1er Cru "Les Vignes Rondes" 2016, 750ml

Les Vignes Rondes comes from the northern side of Nuits-Saint-Georges, about 500 meters north of the town itself. The vineyard is bordered by Aux Chaignots, and Aux Murgers. The soils are clay-limestone, providing excellent drainage and mineral richness.
Fermentation occurs in open stainless-steel vats at controlled temperatures, followed by maceration lasting between fifteen days to three weeks. The wine is aged for 12-18 months in oak barrels before bottling.

Tasting Note:
This wine shows a bouquet of earthy aromas with hints of gunflint, wild herbs, and red cherries.
On the palate, it is succulent and juicy, showcasing a core of red cherry flavors with good drive and a satisfying finish.
