Domaine Jean Charles Rion Bourgogne Hautes Cotes de Nuits "Les Millottes" 2019, 750ml

100% Chardonnay, sourced from vines planted between 410 and 430 meters of altitude in the lieu-dit Les Millottes, in the commune of Marey-lès-Fussey. The vineyard faces southwest and is planted in clay-limestone soils, contributing to the wine’s structure and mineral tension. Fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats using indigenous yeasts. The wine is then aged for approximately 12 months in used French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes:

The acacia flower and honeysuckle then gradually give way to notes of fresh butter and vanilla. The oak is well softened and discreet, it is above all the subtlety of the aromas that amazes in this very well-balanced Chardonnay. A good length in the mouth and a long honey finish.
