Domaine Lignier Michelot Morey Saint Denis 1er Cru "Les Chenevery" 2019, 750ml

This 37 are parcel lies below Les Faconnières. Part of it is in the village appellation and part in the 1er Cru. The limestone, which is very present in the soil, gives this wine a very mineral character. Made with 50% whole clusters, this small cuvée of 1,400 bottles comes from a fairly young (45 years old) but very mature vineyard. The result is a floral nose and a lovely salinity on the palate, all subtlety and elegance.

Tasting Note:

A bright, open bouquet with notes of peppermint, ripe cherry, plum, and raspberry. On the palate, it is well-balanced with fine minerality, showcasing the terroir. The wine finishes with wonderful precision, making it one of the most terroir-driven cuvées from Lignier.
