Domaine Lignier Michelot Clos de la Roche Grand Cru 2018, 750ml

Clos de la Roche from just below Ponsot’s Monts Luisants section. This plots, which cover around 70 ares, are located in the Genavrieres and Monts Luisants climates. These Pinot Noir vines are 45 years old. Vinified with 80% whole clusters.

Tasting Note:

The 2018 Clos de la Roche Grand Cru presents a slightly confit and jammy nose with attractive notes of wild strawberry, raspberry, and touches of orange pith. Despite a hint of reduction, the wine develops impressively in the glass. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with elegant tannins, showcasing a beautiful structure full of power and minerality.
