Domaine Lignier Michelot Gevrey Chambertin "Cuvee Bertin" 2019, 750ml

This Gevrey-Chambertin is a blend of 3 climats: Sevrey, Murots and Creux-Brouillard, covering an area of one hectare. This cuvée is vinified from 100% whole clusters to get as close as possible to the Gevrey terroir, while remaining powerful and delicious. Over 3,200 bottles are produced each year.

Tasting Note:

A very intense bouquet with powerful black cherry and cassis fruit. It manages to retain fine delineation but leans more towards the hedonistic side of the pleasure spectrum. The palate is medium-bodied with candied red fruit laced with marmalade and allspice on the entry. Fine grip, quite irony towards the finish with a gamey aftertaste.
