Domaine Lignier Michelot Chambolle Musigny V.V. 2022, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir from old vines (planted 1955-1957, totaling 1.5ha) in the Les Drazey (limestone soils, below Sentiers) and Les Gamaires (deeper clay soils, lower slope) lieux-dits of Chambolle-Musigny. The grapes are hand-harvested, vinified with 80% whole clusters including short cold maceration and no punch-downs, and undergo alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Aged 18-20 months in oak barrels using around 30% new wood.

Tasting Note:

Aromas show dark berries and raspberry along with orange zest and warm spice notes. The palate delivers medium body and concentration with fine tannic structure and lively acidity. Overall impression is one of elegant finesse and seamless persistence reflecting the ripe yet vibrant vintage character in Côte de Nuits Pinot Noir.
