Domaine Jean Tardy Echezeaux Grand Cru "Les Treux" V.V. 2019, 750ml

Echézeaux Grand Cru “Les Treux” Vieilles Vignes 2019 is made from 100% destemmed Pinot Noir, with 65% whole berries retained, grown on a 0.34-hectare parcel planted in 1937. The vineyard lies in the lieu-dit “Les Treux,” adjacent to Grands Echézeaux, on clay-limestone soils with little slope and east–west row orientation. Fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, using minimal punch-downs. The wine is aged for 18 months in oak barrels, 80% of which are new, and is racked once before bottling.
