Domaine Jean Tardy Gevrey Chambertin "Champerrier" V.V. 2018, 750ml

A voluminous bouquet of precocious dark cherries, bergamot and floral scents, certainly one of the more expressive of Guillaume Tardy’s 2018s at this early juncture. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, fleshy and rounded in style, presenting tobacco-tinged red fruit toward the smooth and quite persistent finish. There is a dash of black pepper on the aftertaste.
