Domaine Chevillon Chezeaux Nuits St Georges 1er Cru "Aux Bousselots" 2022, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir from 0.36 ha from a single parcel of the 1er Cru Les Bousselots at 255 to 280m of altitude. Planted in brown limestone soil, and pink limestone from Premeaux. Age of the vines: 30 years old.

The grapes are 100% destemmed and lightly crushed, followed by a pre-fermentation, cold maceration of 7 days, and fermentation with punch downs and pump overs. The wine is pressed and transferred to barrels by gravity, and ages for 16 months in 20% new oak barrels.

Tasting Note:

The Bousselots" displays a deep color. In their youth, they show a certain austerity, then over the years their aromas diversify, evolving towards notes of fresh leather, animal scents mixed with fine balsamic and licorice aromas. Flesh and suppleness combine with the softness of the tannins, revealing a wine of a friendly approach.
