Domaine Ramonet Pernand Vergelesses "Les Belles Filles" Rouge 2021, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir from old vines in the Les Belles Filles lieu-dit on the upper east-facing slope of Pernand-Vergelesses with marly limestone soils. The grapes are hand-harvested, fully destemmed, given a cold pre-fermentation maceration, and undergo alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in open wooden vats followed by gentle extraction. Malolactic completed. Aged 18 months in oak barrels using 25% new wood.

Tasting Note:

Aromas show red cherry and cranberry along with violet and stony mineral notes. The palate delivers light to medium body and precision with fine tannic structure and vivid acidity. Overall impression is one of delicate intensity and cool persistent clarity reflecting the fresh vintage character in Côte de Beaune Pinot Noir.
