Domaine Louis Michel Chablis 1er Cru "Montmain" 2023, 750ml

Chablis 1er Cru Montmain 2023 is produced from old Chardonnay vines planted on Kimmeridgian limestone and clay soils in the Montmain climat. Grapes were hand harvested destemmed and gently pressed before fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel vats using indigenous yeast. The wine was aged on fine lees in stainless steel for about 8 to 10 months with no oak influence to preserve purity and minerality.

Tasting Note:

The nose shows aromas of citrus white flowers and crushed stone with a hint of saline freshness. The palate is dry and precise with vibrant acidity layered citrus fruit and a firm mineral backbone leading to a long clean finish. Overall it offers a classic and elegant expression of Chablis with clarity and tension.
