Yannick Amirault St Nicolas de Bourgueil "La Source" 2022, 750ml is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
Situated on sand and gravel terraces around the village of Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil, this area has the most draining and early conditions of the estate. The vines are, on average, 45 years old, and the soil is fully tilled.
The grapes are 100% hand-harvested and undergo double sorting with destalking (no crushing). Alcoholic fermentation occurs in open vats with a soft maceration period of three weeks. The wine then rests discreetly in oak vats for 5 to 10 months.
Tasting Note:
A typical St-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil raised with our exigency. A tonic and lively style, slightly spiced with peonie notes.
