About Caperdonich Distillery: Located in Rothes, Scotland, Caperdonich distillery was originally established in 1898 as "Glen Grant No. 2" to meet the high demand for Glen Grant whisky. It was closed in 1902 due to a downturn in the whisky market but was reopened in 1965 under the name Caperdonich. Known for its light, floral, and slightly creamy whiskies, Caperdonich operated until 2002 when it was closed and later demolished in 2010. Despite its closure, Caperdonich remains a hidden gem among whisky enthusiasts, with its remaining stocks highly sought after.
