Brackla 2011, 12Year Old, Single Cask, Duncan Taylor, 700ml
From the Brackla distillery, this single malt offers all the flavor notes that whisky lovers seek in a sherry-matured malt — and more, thanks to its high-strength presentation.
Tasting Note:
Nose: Light and citrusy with orange peel and marmalade, complemented by notes of toffee apple and barley sugar. Hints of malt loaf with salted butter, topped with honey.
Palate: The citrus from the nose transitions to green fruit, stewed apples, and ripe pears, with touches of spice reminiscent of German Christmas cookies. Uncomplicated and satisfying.
