Bertinga "Volta di Bertinga" 2019, 1.5L

Volta di Bertinga is made from 100% Merlot grown in the block no. 10 of the Bertinga vineyard, which is north-facing and has the highest clay content. The vineyard, located in Gaiole in Chianti, planted in calcareous marl soils. The wine undergoes fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats and matures for 18 months in French oak barrels, 30% of which are new, followed by an additional 18 months in the bottle.

Tasting Note:

Deep purple-red with aromas of wild berries, black cherries, and exotic citrus fruits. The palate is powerful and dynamic, supported by saline acidity, with refreshing floral flavors of violet, juniper wood, and menthol, leading to a fresh and tasty finish with notes of licorice.
