Domaine de Terrebrune Bandol Blanc 2023, 750ml
Certified organic wine composed of 50% Clairette, 20% Ugni Blanc, 20% Bourboulenc, 5% Rolle, and 5% Marsanne. The fruit is sourced from north-facing terraced vineyards in Ollioules, Bandol, where vines averaging 15 years grow in Triassic-era clay-limestone soils with blue limestone bedrock. Fermentation was carried out in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks using native yeasts, and the wine was aged for six months in demi-muids (600-liter oak barrels) before bottling.
Tasting Note:
On the nose, it offers citrus peel, anise, and garrigue. The palate is fresh and mineral-driven, with a saline finish and subtle pastry notes, supported by 13% alcohol and a taut, elegant structure.
