Glen Grant 1961 "Distillery Labels" G&M, 700ml

The Glen Grant 1961 "Distillery Labels" by Gordon & MacPhail, bottled in 2014, is a 53-year-old whisky matured in Sherry casks. This limited release is bottled at 40% ABV.

Nose: Dark, hearty sherry tone, sweet fruit aromas with traces of baked apple and kiwi. Apricot, plum compote, clove notes and cinnamon with a delicate sherry tone.

Palate: Blood orange, deep fruit cake aromas, oak and winter spices, cloves and hints of anise and light mint.

Finish: Very long, velvety, full-bodied chocolate notes, marzipan, vanilla, raisins, some coffee with a slight smokiness.
