"Connoisseurs Choice" Tomatin 1990, (bottled in 2019). Matured in refilled American Hogshead.

Nose: Notes of ripe banana and smooth toffee open into pear candies with delicate notes of sugared violets. Waxy lemon aromas appear and fuse with marzipan. Soft leather undertones add depth.

Palate:  Creamy; fresh mango and papaya pairs with sticky brown sugar flavours . Roasted hazelnut undertones transform into vibrant pink grapefruit with a delicate nuances of vanilla crème brûlée.

Finish: Lingering liquorice and walnut notes with an herbal edge.
