"Connoisseurs Choice" Tomatin 1989 (bottled in 2018). Matured in refilled American hogshead.

Nose: A summer orchard; blossoming elderflower, fresh pressed green apple, and ripe pear aromas mature into creamy white chocolate and juicy peaches in syrup balanced by zesty lime. 

Palate: Creamy and warming; white pepper and lemon cream flavours mingle with sweet hedgerow raspberries and strawberries. Refreshing hints of mature mint lingers.

Finish: Tart grapefruit mellows into redcurrants, blackcurrants, and nuances of chocolate.
